| NIPR At Your Service |
Tune in New Generation Radio on WBOI Recognizing that public radio is fast attracting young adult listeners, WBOI has established New Generation Radio, an internship program that offers young adults a chance to be heard on their favorite station. With support from the English Bonter Mitchell Foundation, WBOI's news department has been busy training and overseeing these reporters.
Our last intern, Matt Jackson, has produced original work, including a great piece on the local music scene. You can hear Matt's segment by going to our "JukeBox" tab and searching for Matt.
If you have an interest in broadcasting and are a high school or college student, please contact us to learn about internship possibilities. Contact Kevin Kreigh, Program Director, to learn more.
